In an Infinite Creator there is only unity.
You have seen simple examples of unity. You have seen the prism which shows all colors stemming from the sunlight. This is a simplistic example of unity.
In truth there is no right or wrong.
There is no polarity for all will be, as you would say, reconciled at some point in your dance through the mind/body/spirit complex which you amuse yourself by distorting in various ways at this time.
This distortion is not in any case necessary.
It is chosen by each of you as an alternative to understanding the complete unity of thought which binds all things.
You are not speaking of similar or somewhat like entities or things.
You are every thing, every being, every emotion, every event, every situation. You are unity. You are infinity. You are love/light, light/love. You are. This is the Law of One.
May we enunciate in more detail?
Questioner: No.
The Law of One, Book I, Session 3
Questioner: Then if an individual is totally informed with respect to the Law of One and lives the Law of One, then such things as the building of the pyramids by direct mental effort would be commonplace.
Is that what I am to understand?
Ra: I am Ra. You are incorrect in that there is a distinction between the individual power through the Law of One and the combined, or societal memory complex mind/body/spirit understanding of the Law of One.
In the first case only the one individual, purified of all flaws, could move a mountain.
In the case of mass understanding of unity, each individual may contain an acceptable amount of distortion and yet the mass mind could move mountains.
The progress is normally from the understanding which you now seek to a dimension of understanding which is governed by the laws of love, and which seeks the laws of light.
Those who are vibrating with the Law of Light seek the Law of One.
Those who vibrate with the Law of One seek the Law of Foreverness.
We cannot say what is beyond this dissolution of the unified self with all that there is, for we still seek to become all that there is, and still are we Ra.
Thus our paths go onward.

Questioner: Then would this training program involve specific things to do, specific instructions and exercises?
Ra: I am Ra. We are not at this time incarnate among your peoples; thus, we can guide and attempt to specify, but we cannot, by example, show.
This is an handicap.
However, there should indeed be fairly specific exercises of mind, body, and spirit during the teach/learning process we offer.
It is to be once more iterated that healing is but one distortion of the Law of One.
To reach an undistorted understanding of that law, it is not necessary to heal or to show any manifestation but only to exercise the discipline of understanding.
We would ask that one or two more questions be the ending of this session.
Questioner: My objective is primarily to discover more of the Law of One, and it would be very helpful to discover the techniques of healing.
I am aware of your problem with respect to free will.
Can you state the Law of One and the laws of healing to me?
Ra: I am Ra. The Law of One, though beyond the limitation of name, as you call vibratory sound complexes, may be approximated by stating that all things are one, that there is no polarity, no right or wrong, no disharmony,
but only identity.
All is one, and that one is love/light, light/love, the infinite Creator.
One of the primal distortions of the Law of One is that of healing.
Healing occurs when a mind/body/spirit complex realizes, deep within itself, the Law of One; that is, that there is no disharmony, no imperfection; that all is complete and whole and perfect.
Thus, the intelligent infinity within this mind/body/spirit complex re-forms the illusion of body, mind, or spirit to a form congruent with the Law of One.
The healer acts as energizer or catalyst for this completely individual process.
One item which may be of interest is that a healer asking to learn must take the distortion understood as responsibility for that ask/receiving.
This is an honor/duty which must be carefully considered in free will before the asking.

Questioner: I think that it would be appropriate to discover how the Law of One acts in this transfer of beings to our planet and the action of harvest?
Ra: I am Ra. The Law of One states simply that all things are one, that all beings are one.
There are certain behaviors and thought-forms consonant with the understanding and practice of this law.
Those who, finishing a cycle of experience, demonstrate grades of distortion of that understanding of thought and action will be separated by their own choice into the vibratory distortion most comfortable to their mind/body/spirit complexes.
This process is guarded or watched by those nurturing beings who, being very close to the Law of One in their distortions, nevertheless, move towards active service.
Thus, the illusion is created of light, or more properly but less understandably, light/love.
This is in varying degrees of intensity.
The spirit complex of each harvested entity moves along the line of light until the light grows too glaring, at which time the entity stops.
This entity may have barely reached third density or may be very, very close to the ending of the third-density light/love distortion vibratory complex.
Nevertheless, those who fall within this octave of intensifying light/love then experience a major cycle during which there are opportunities for the discovery of the distortions which are inherent in each entity and, therefore, the lessening of these distortions.

Questioner: What is the density of the Orion group?
Ra: I am Ra. Like the Confederation, the densities of the mass consciousnesses which comprise that group are varied.
There are a very few third density, a larger number of fourth density, a similarly large number of fifth density, and very few sixth-density entities comprising this organization.
Their numbers are perhaps one-tenth ours at any point in the space/time continuum as the problem of spiritual entropy causes them to experience constant disintegration of their social memory complexes.
Their power is the same as ours.
The Law of One blinks neither at the light nor the darkness, but is available for service to others and service to self.
However, service to others results in service to self, thus preserving and further harmonizing the distortions of those entities seeking intelligent infinity through these disciplines.
Those seeking intelligent infinity through the use of service to self create the same amount of power but, as we said, have constant difficulty because of the concept of separation which is implicit in the manifestations of the service to self which involve power over others.
This weakens and eventually disintegrates the energy collected by such mind/body/spirit complexes who call the Orion group and the social memory complexes which comprise the Orion group.
It should be noted, carefully pondered, and accepted, that the Law of One is available to any social memory complex which has decided to strive together for any seeking of purpose, be it service to others or service to self.
The laws, which are the primal distortions of the Law of One, then are placed into operation and the illusion of space/time is used as a medium for the development of the results of those choices freely made.
Thus all entities learn, no matter what they seek.
All learn the same, some rapidly, some slowly.
Questioner: I’m trying to understand how a group such as the Orion group would progress.
How it would be possible, if you were in the Orion group, and pointed toward self-service, to progress from our third density to the fourth.
What learning would be necessary for that?
Ra: I am Ra. This is the last question of length for this instrument at this time.
You will recall that we went into some detail as to how those not oriented towards seeking service for others yet, nevertheless, found and could use the gateway to intelligent infinity.
This is true at all densities in our octave.
We cannot speak for those above us, as you would say, in the next quantum or octave of beingness.
This is, however, true of this octave of density.
The beings are harvested because they can see and enjoy the light/love of the appropriate density.
Those who have found this light/love, love/light without benefit of a desire for service to others nevertheless, by the Law of Free Will, have the right to the use of that light/love for whatever purpose.
Also, it may be inserted that there are systems of study which enable the seeker of separation to gain these gateways.
This study is as difficult as the one which we have described to you, but there are those with the perseverance to pursue the study just as you desire to pursue the difficult path of seeking to know in order to serve.
The distortion lies in the effect that those who seek to serve the self are seen by the Law of One as precisely the same as those who seek to serve others, for are all not one?
To serve yourself and to serve others is a dual method of saying the same thing, if you can understand the essence of the Law of One.
At this time we would answer any brief questions you may have.

Questioner: If an Man In Black were to visit me and I locked him in the closet could I keep him, or would he disappear?
Ra: I am Ra. It depends upon which type of entity you grab.
You are perhaps able to perceive a construct.
The construct might be kept for a brief period, although these constructs also have an ability to disappear.
The programming on these constructs, however, makes it more difficult to remotely control them.
You would not be able to grapple with a thought-form entity of the Man in Black, as you call it, type.
Questioner: Would this be against the Law of One?
Would I be making a mistake by grabbing one of those entities?
Ra: I am Ra. There are no mistakes under the Law of One.
Questioner: What I mean to ask is would I be polarizing more towards self-service or service to others when I did this act of locking up the thought-form or construct?
Ra: I am Ra. You may consider that question for yourself.
We interpret the Law of One, but not to the extent of advice.

Questioner: Do I assume correctly that one of your attempts in service to this planet was to help the population more fully understand and practice the Law of One so that this rapid aging could be changed to normal aging?
Ra: I am Ra. You assume correctly to a great degree.
QUESTIONER Then it would be very beneficial for the people of this planet, in practicing the Law of One, to learn ways of service.
Am I correct?
RA I am Ra. You are correct.
If you will observe those oriented through a lifetime-experiential-distortion complex from near the beginning of that experience, you will observe a relatively youthful, as you would call it, appearance.
Questioner: What is the greatest service that our population on this planet could perform individually?
Ra: I am Ra. There is but one service.
The Law is One.
The offering of self to Creator is the greatest service, the unity, the fountainhead.
The entity who seeks the one Creator is with infinite intelligence.
From this seeking, from this offering, a great multiplicity of opportunities will evolve depending upon the mind/body/spirit complexes’ distortions with regard to the various illusory aspects or energy centers of the various complexes of your illusion.
Thus, some become healers, some workers, some teachers, and so forth.
Questioner: If an entity were perfectly balanced with respect to the Law of One on this planet would he undergo the aging process?
Ra: I am Ra. A perfectly balanced entity would become tired rather than visibly aged.
The lessons being learned, the entity would depart.
However, this is appropriate and is a form of aging which your peoples do not experience.
The understanding comes slowly, the body complex decomposing more rapidly.

Questioner: Roughly how many total planets in this galaxy of stars that we are in are aware regardless of density?
Ra: I am Ra. Approximately 67 million.
Questioner: Can you tell me what percentage of those are third, fourth, fifth, sixth etc., density?
Ra: I am Ra.
A percentage seventeen for first density, a percentage twenty for second density, a percentage twenty-seven for third density, a percentage sixteen for fourth density, a percentage six for fifth density. The other information must be withheld.
Questioner: Of these first five densities, have all of the planets progressed from the third density by knowledge and application of the Law of One?
Ra: I am Ra. This is correct.
Questioner: Then the only way for a planet to get out of the situation that we are in is for the population to become aware of and start practicing the Law of One. Is this correct?
Ra: I am Ra. This is correct.
Questioner: Can you tell me what percentage of the third-, fourth-, and fifth-density planets which you have spoken of here are polarized negatively towards service to self?
Ra: I am Ra. This is not a query to which we may speak given the Law of Confusion.
We may say only that the negatively or self-service oriented planetary spheres are much fewer.
To give you exact numbers would not be appropriate.
Questioner: I would like to make an analogy as to why there are fewer negatively oriented, and then ask you if the analogy is good.
In a positively oriented society with service to others, it would be simple to move a large boulder by getting everyone to help move it.
In a society oriented towards service to self, it would be much more difficult to get everyone to work for the good of all to move the boulder; therefore, it is much easier to get things done to create the service to others principle and to grow in positively oriented communities than in negatively oriented communities.
Is this correct?
Ra: I am Ra. This is correct.
Questioner: Can you tell me if the progression of life in other galaxies is similar to the progression of life in our galaxy?
Ra: I am Ra. The progression is somewhat close to the same, asymptotically approaching congruency throughout infinity.
The free choosing of what you would call galactic systems causes variations of an extremely minor nature from one of your galaxies to another.
Questioner: Then the Law of One is truly universal in creating a progression towards the eighth density in all galaxies. Is this correct?
Ra: I am Ra. This is correct.
There are infinite forms, infinite understandings, but the progression is one.
Questioner: I am assuming that it is not necessary for an individual to understand the Law of One to go from the third to the fourth density. Is this correct?
Ra: I am Ra. It is absolutely necessary that an entity consciously realize it does not understand in order for it to be harvestable.
Understanding is not of this density.
Questioner: That is a very important point.
I used the wrong word.
What I meant to say was that I believed that it was not necessary for an entity to be consciously aware of the Law of One to go from the third to the fourth density.
Ra: I am Ra. This is correct.
The Law of One, Book I, Session 22
Questioner: I see.
Then I will state the picture I have of Atlantis and you tell me if I am correct.
We have a condition where a large enough percentage of the people of Atlantis had started at least going in the direction of the Law of One and living the Law of One for their call to be heard by the Confederation.
This call was heard because, using the Law of Squares, it overrode the opposition of the Atlantean entities who were not calling.
The Confederation then used channels such as we use now in communication and also made contact directly, but this turned out to be a mistake because it was perverted by the entities of Atlantis.
Is this correct?
Ra: I am Ra. This is correct with one exception.
There is only one law.
That is the Law of One.
Other so-called laws are distortions of this law, some of them primal and most important for progress to be understood.
However, it is well that each so-called law, which we also call “way,” be understood as a distortion rather than a law.
There is no multiplicity to the Law of One.
This will be the final question in length of this working.

Have you communicated with any of our population in the third-density incarnate state in recent times?
Ra: I am Ra. Please restate, specifying “recent times” and the pronoun, “you.”
Questioner: Has Ra communicated with any of our population in this century, in the last, say, eighty years?
Ra: I am Ra. We have not.
Questioner: Has the Law of One been communicated in the last eighty years by any other source to an entity in our population?
Ra: I am Ra. The ways of One have seldom been communicated, although there are rare instances in the previous eighty of your years, as you measure time.
There have been many communications from fourth density due to the drawing towards the harvest to fourth density.
These are the ways of universal love and understanding.
The other teachings are reserved for those whose depth of understanding, if you will excuse this misnomer, recommend and attract such further communication.
The Law of One, Book II, Session 28
Questioner: I may be backtracking a little today because I think that possibly we are at the most important part of what we are doing in trying to make it apparent how everything is one, how it comes from one intelligent infinity.
This is difficult, so please bear with my errors in questioning.
The concept that I have right now of the process, using both what you have told me and some of Dewey Larson’s material having to do with the physics of the process, is that intelligent infinity expands outward from all locations everywhere.
It expands outward uniformly like the surface of a bubble or a balloon expanding outward from every point everywhere.
It expands outward at what is called unit velocity or the velocity of light.
This is Larson’s idea of the progression of what he calls space/time.
Is this concept correct?
Ra: I am Ra. This concept is incorrect as is any concept of the one intelligent infinity.
This concept is correct in the context of one particular Logos, or Love, or focus of this Creator which has chosen Its, shall we say, natural laws and ways of expressing them mathematically and otherwise.
The one undifferentiated intelligent infinity, unpolarized, full and whole, is the macrocosm of the mystery-clad being.
We are messengers of the Law of One.
Unity, at this approximation of understanding, cannot be specified by any physics but only become activated or potentiated intelligent infinity due to the catalyst of free will.
This may be difficult to accept.
However, the understandings we have to share begin and end in mystery.
The Law of One, Book III, Session 52
Questioner: Thank you. Just a little point that was bothering me of no real importance.
Is there then, from the point of view of an individual who wishes to follow the service-to-others path, anything of importance other than disciplines of personality, knowledge of self, and strengthening of will?
Ra: I am Ra. This is technique. This is not the heart.
Let us examine the heart of evolution.
Let us remember that we are all one. This is the great learning/teaching.
In this unity lies love. This is a great learn/teaching.
In this unity lies light. This is the fundamental teaching of all planes of existence in materialization.
Unity, love, light, and joy; this is the heart of evolution of the spirit.
The second-ranking lessons are learn/taught in meditation and in service.
At some point the mind/body/spirit complex is so smoothly activated and balanced by these central thoughts or distortions that the techniques you have mentioned become quite significant.
However, the universe, its mystery unbroken, is one.
Always begin and end in the Creator, not in technique.

Questioner: Isn’t this unusual that a fifth-density entity then would bother to do this rather than sending a fourth-density servant, shall I say?
Ra: I am Ra. This is correct.
Nearly all positive channels and groups may be lessened in their positivity or rendered quite useless by what we may call the temptations offered by the fourth-density negative thought-forms.
They may suggest many distortions towards specific information, towards the aggrandizement of the self, towards the flowering of the organization in some political, social, or fiscal way.
These distortions remove the focus from the One Infinite Source of love and light of which we are all messengers, humble and knowing that we, of ourselves, are but the tiniest portion of the Creator, a small part of a magnificent entirety of infinite intelligence.

Questioner: That’s OK. I don’t think that was too good a question anyway.
When Ra initially planned for helping the Egyptians with their evolution, what was the primary concept, and also secondary and tertiary if you can name those, that Ra wished to impart to the Egyptians?
In other words, what was Ra’s training plan or schedule for making the Egyptians aware of what was necessary for their evolution?
Ra: I am Ra. We came to your peoples to enunciate the Law of One.
We wished to impress upon those who wished to learn of unity that in unity all paradoxes are resolved; all that is broken is healed; all that is forgotten is brought to light.

RA I am Ra. The Law is One.

Some fundamental ideas from the Law of One Material
The One Infinite Creator
The Law of One states that there is only one, and that one is the Infinite Creator (4.20), which Ra also calls “Infinite Intelligence” and “Intelligent Infinity.” It is impossible to describe the “one undifferentiated intelligent infinity, unpolarized, full and whole” but It can be activated or potentiated (28.1). Each portion of the creation contains, paradoxically, the whole (13.13).
Illusion
Since all is one, all manifestation, or appearance of many-ness, is an illusion (1.6, 106.23). According to Ra, it is an illusion carefully engineered in order to give the Creator the opportunity to know Itself (27.17).
Distortion
In Ra’s terms, “distortion” is anything that moves away from undistorted unity. This can be either what we would consider “good” (distortion toward love) or “bad” (distortion towards ill health). There are three fundamental distortions of Infinite Intelligence:
Free Will (The First Distortion)
The first distortion is free will, or finity, or the limit of the viewpoint (13.12, 15.21, 99.5). The created universe that we experience is the Creator’s exploration of Itself through the first distortion, which Ra also calls the Law of Confusion (27.10). Ra defines free will as the recognition “that the Creator will know Itself” (27.8).
The Logos (The Second Distortion)
The second distortion is Love, or the Logos, or the Creative Principle (15.21). It is “the focus, the choice of attack, the type of energy of an extremely, shall we say, high order which causes intelligent energy to be formed from the potential of intelligent infinity in just such and such a way.” (27.12) A Logos can create a single star system or it can create a galaxy with billions of star systems (28.7). Each galaxy has its own system of natural laws (13.13) and, I believe, its own “cosmic mind” (91.2). Ra says that some of its members have wandered to the creations of other Logoi, and that the “experience has been one which staggers the intellectual and intuitive capacities.” (90.17) In the case of galactic systems, the first physical manifestation of a Logos is a cluster of central systems (82.8).
Light (The Third Distortion)
The third distortion is light (15.21). It is the first manifestation visible to the eye (78.9). Light is intelligent, full of energy, and the building block of what we call matter (13.9). Light’s characteristics include “the infinite whole paradoxically described by the straight line.” Ra says that this “paradox is responsible for the shape of the various physical illusion entities you call solar systems, galaxies, and planets, all revolving and tending towards the lenticular.” (13.9). Light energy has an upward spiraling characteristic which impels evolution. (13.17).
Sub-Logoi
Our galaxy was created by a single Logos (28.9) and our sun is a sub-Logos of that Logos (29.1) A sub-Logos individualizes or differentiates the natural laws set up by its Logos (13.13, 29.2). It also refines the cosmic mind into its specific archetypical mind, informed by the experience of earlier sub-Logoi (81.33, 91.3).

Humans are an example of sub-sub-Logoi (29.7).
Densities
The creation has seven levels, or densities; the eighth density forming the first density of the next octave of experience, just as the eighth note of a musical scale begins a new octave (16.51, 28.15). Between seventh and eighth densities the creation re-merges in a period of timeless, formless unity with the Creator (28.16). It is Ra’s understanding that “the ways of the octave are without time; that is, there are seven densities in each creation infinitely.” They point out, though, that the limits of their knowledge are narrow (78.15).
First density is the density of awareness, in which the planet moves out of the timeless state into physical manifestation. Its elements are earth, air, water, and fire (13.16). On earth, after matter had coalesced and space/time had begun to “unroll its scroll of livingness” (29.11), first density took about two billion years (76.13)
Second density is the density of growth, in which what we call biological life emerges and evolves into greater and greater complexity (9.13). Second density on earth took about 4.6 billion years (76.13).
Third density is the density of self-awareness and the first density of consciousness of the spirit (13.21). It is the “axis upon which the creation turns” because in it entities choose the way (either service to others or service to self) in which they will further their evolution toward the Creator (76.16). Third density is much shorter than the other densities, taking only 75,000 years (6.15).
Fourth density is the density of love or understanding. Those who have successfully chosen a path come together with others of like mind in what Ra calls a “social memory complex” in order to pursue that path, either loving self or loving others (20.36, 48.6). Fourth density lasts approximately 30 million years; fourth-density lifespans are approximately 90 thousand years (43.13, 43.11).
Fifth density is the density of light or wisdom (25.11). Lessons are often learned individually rather than as a social memory complex (43.14). Fifth-density entities are beautiful, by our standards, because they can consciously shape their physical forms (62.21, 90.5)
Sixth density is the density of unity, in which love and wisdom are blended together (33.20). The two paths reunite as those on the service-to-self path, realizing that they cannot successfully master the lessons of unity without opening their hearts to others, switch their polarity to positive (78.25). Ra is sixth-density; their sixth-density cycle is 75 million years (14.19, 14.21).
Seventh density is the gateway density, in which we once again become one with all (16.22). It is “a density of completion and the turning towards timelessness or foreverness.” (41.16)
Eighth density is also the beginning of the first density of the next Creation (28.15). It is “both omega and alpha, the spiritual mass of the infinite universes becoming one central sun or Creator once again. Then is born a new universe, a new infinity, a new Logos which incorporates all that the Creator has experienced of Itself.” (52.12)
The Two Paths
Just as a magnet has two poles, the positive and the negative, so does consciousness (19.19). In consciousness, the poles are the paths of service to others and service to self (7.15). The goal of third density is to choose a path of service.
In order to choose the positive path, at least 51 percent of our thoughts and actions must be dedicated to the service of others (17.31). For the negative path, we must be at least 95% self-serving (17.32). Between the two lies “the sinkhole of indifference.” (17.33). Most people are far along their path before they realize that they have made a choice (19.16).
Just as it’s impossible to judge the polarity of a magnet, so is it impossible, and inappropriate, to judge the polarity of another being (93.3).
The Harvest
Densities last for pre-determined lengths of time. At the end of the allotted time, there is a “harvest,” in which those who have learned the lessons of the density graduate to the following density. Those who have not learned the lessons repeat the density. The requirement for graduation from third density is having chosen a path of service (to self or to others).
The 75,000-year time period for Earth’s third density is at an end. According to Ra, the year 2011 was “an appropriate probable/possible time/space nexus for harvest.” However, Ra has difficulty calculating time and is not confident making predictions. (17.29) Nonetheless, the “cycles move as precisely as a clock strikes your hour. Thus, the gateway from intelligent energy to intelligent infinity opens regardless of circumstance on the striking of the hour.” (9.4) The “possibility/probability vortices” indicate that the transition to fourth density will take from 100 to 700 years. However, this “cannot be accurate due to the volatility of your peoples at this space/time.” (40.8)
The earth will soon be a fourth-density service-to-others planet, but many of its future inhabitants may have to come from elsewhere because many earth natives have not yet chosen a path of service (17.1). Once fourth density is fully underway, only first, second, and fourth density creatures will inhabit the planet. (62.29) Those current third-density inhabitants of Earth who have not yet chosen a path will go to other third-density planets through the process of death here and reincarnation elsewhere. (63.9).
How to be of Service to Others
“The best way of service to others is the constant attempt to seek to share the love of the Creator as it is known to the inner self. Our Logos wanted to give the Creator the highest quality experience of Itself possible. It and other Logoi therefore carefully veiled the subconscious and deep minds from the conscious mind in third density. This precipitated a movement towards seeking and away from the condition of Edenic contenment that existed in the creations of earlier Logoi. The Law of One, also known as the The Ra Material, is a series of five philosophical monographs published between 1982 and 1998 by Schiffer Books.
The books purportedly were authored by a non-human intelligence named Ra through the process of channeling, in which Don Elkins acted as the questioner, Jim McCarty as the scribe and Carla L. Rueckert as the channel for Ra.[1] The 5 book series presents both commentary and full transcripts of the dialogue between the questioner and Ra, who is described as an entity composed of an entire civilization of extraterrestrial beings that are fused into one unified consciousness.
The introduction to the first book explains that the questioner is Don Elkins and that Ra is a higher density being. A sixth density lifeform of pure energy (spirit), speaking through the body of channeler Carla L. Rueckert.
Carla L. Rueckert transmitted the material by entering into a non-conscious state (which the authors call an “unconscious trance”) where she became a communication channel or “instrument” for Ra to utilize in order for them to communicate to our level of reality and answer the questions posed by Don Elkins. The answers were interpreted to be direct communications with Ra, which is in line with standard views on channeling. The books are written in a question and answer format. The dialogue between Don Elkins and Ra was recorded, transcribed, and edited by Jim McCarty to produce the 5 books.
The material in the books conveys an elaborate and grand reality. Ultimately described as being called The Law of One or the basic principle that “all is One”, that all “things” that exist are ultimately the same “essence” within many forms and configurations. The philosophy of The Law of One describes the big questions of life: why, how and where everything that exists comes from. As well as its place within the manifest Creation. The five books explore this premise in relation to many aspects of life including: philosophy, religion, spirituality, cosmology, anthropology, history, politics, physics, biology, geology, and the “paranormal”.
The dialogues have been cited by sociologists to be a convergence of “ufology” and “trance channeling”, where a human channeler is said to be aligned with or in harmony with Ra, thus being able to act as a “receiver” for the “vibrations”(in this case: knowledge) emitted by the 6th density intelligence. The material describes, that Ra is a highly advanced race of “extraterrestrials” who once visited ancient Egypt and assisted with construction of the pyramids.
In these books Don Elkins, a Ph.D. physicist, university professor and airline pilot found the apex of his lifetime of research into the UFO phenomenon through telepathic contact with extraterrestrial intelligence.
For twenty years he had been working with various gifted individuals who would go into trance and speak on behalf of these higher intelligences. And time after time, Dr. Elkins would ask them the most difficult, challenging questions coming from the forefront of his research into advanced physics, and he would get the answers.
These answers were repeatedly coming from those who had no knowledge of these things while awake. It was at the end of this twenty-year period that Elkins’ work with Carla Rueckert, broke through to a much more substantial level.
This breakthrough was directly precipitated by the arrival of Jim McCarty, who thought that he was coming to help Don and Carla catalog, categorize and organize the volumes of material that they had already produced. Instead, something totally unexpected happened.
They attracted a true heavy-hitter of the higher realms, perhaps the main group responsible for our care: a huge spiritual group of entities, that called itself Ra, and said that they were from the sixth density level of spiritual evolution, millions upon millions of years more advanced than modern humanity.
As soon as Ra began speaking, they made it clear that this was the first time that they had been able to get through an undistorted series of messages in thousands of years of human history.
The words and concepts were highly sophisticated and precise, unlike any other type of channeled material ever seen, and were referred to by one professor as “akin to a Ph.D. dissertation on epistemology.”

The book series articulates a nondualistic philosophy according to which all things both spring from and are one with the source of the universe, termed: “The One Infinite Creator.”
Within The Law of One, “The Creator” is not described as an external entity, as Earthly religious texts present in order for men to understand. Instead, “The Creator” is rather an all pervasive intelligent energy, that is both within everything that exists and without, thus the indivisible oneness, that the philosophy describes. Underlying the perception of separation, utilized for learning, is an indivisible oneness.
The Law of One states that this universe, one of many, was created by the One Infinite Creator—out of itself—by distorting its energy into the parts of existence called “distortions”. The process occurred one distortion at a time, in a specific order.
The first distortion created by the Creator is called Free Will.
The second is Love.
And the third is Light.
All other substance and form comes from an interaction of these three distortions. Akin to a hologram or a fractal, each part of the creation is also the whole.
As Ra uses the word, the distortion of “Light” can be taken to mean: energy/matter and knowledge/wisdom.
Cosmology Ra describes each galaxy as a creation of an intelligence called a Logos. The Logos creates many sub-Logoi, star systems (ie: stars and planets). One sub-Logos would be our Sun, for example. Another would be our planet Earth, another planet Venus, Jupiter and so on and so forth. The sub-Logoi, in turn, create sub-sub-Logoi. Human beings are an example of sub-sub-Logoi. Each Logos, sub-Logos, and sub-sub-Logos is a microcosm of the Creator. The Logos created seven levels of progression for spiritual evolution and Ra has called each of these levels a density.
Even more importantly, this cosmology is not simply in the realm of lofty speculation – for all intents and purposes, Ra was systematically teaching Dr. Elkins about a whole new form of physics, a new form of understanding the way that the Universe functions, rooted in compassion, harmony and wisdom.
Densities Commentators have interpreted densities in a variety of ways. Some have described it as a “dimension” as in “a higher dimension of experiential reality.” A density differs markedly from the Cartesian notion of dimension. But the description of a density as a dimension, as utilized in other sources is problematic, especially due to the fact that the books have occasionally used the term “dimension” interchangeably with density.
Some have described it as a physical concept in addition to a non-physical concept, while others describe it as entirely non-physical.[17][22] In any case, all commentators agree that different densities are associated with different levels/forms of consciousness and different phenomenological ways of being.
The first density is the density of the elements (Earth, Water, Air, Fire) (In scientific terms: solids, liquids, gases and plasma).
The second density is the density of organic life: plants, animals, bacteria, etc.
The third density is the density which human beings inhabit. It is the density of self-awareness. It is also the density of duality, through which the individual chooses their polarity of service.
The fourth density is the density of love or understanding. And like all subsequent densities, is inhabited by mind/body/spirit complexes of a higher level of spiritual evolution than human beings on present day Earth.
The fifth density is the density of light or wisdom. Wherein long and deep contemplation and introspection are practiced so that one’s own wisdom may spring forth and the entity may become refined to an even higher degree.
The sixth density is the density of unity consciousness, where love and wisdom are united and where all other polarities are united. In Earth history it is from this density that “archangels” come from, as described in various texts. The seventh density is the gateway density, the last density before mind/body/spirit complexes merge back into the Creator.
The eighth density is the beginning of the next octave. Where the journey begins again.
Ra tells us that humans are composed of a mind, a body, and a spirit, and therefore would refer to an individual human as a “mind/body/spirit complex”. Ra says that humans, along with the Earth, are going through a process called harvest. This included statements that there are many other living beings in the universe that are similar to humans but differ in body, intelligence, culture, and spiritual evolution. These beings, like humans, are referred to as mind/body/spirit complexes.
Ra describes that individuals from other densities have incarnated on Earth to contribute to the harvest.
Ra expressed that all mind/body/spirit complexes, after being formed in third density, progress upward through the densities as they evolve spiritually, until they become one with the Creator at the end of seventh density.
This evolution is accomplished through incarnation into a body. Many times, until the soul has completed the lessons relevant to each density. Incarnation only occurs within 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th density. A physical body is no longer necessary beyond the end of 4th density. From 5th density and beyond, the body is purely energetic in nature.
In order to progress from third density to fourth density, individuals must make a choice between two polarities of service. Service to others or service to self: or in ordinary language, between altruism and selfishness. The purpose of third density is to make this choice. The purpose of experiencing the sometimes harsh environment of 3rd density, no matter which location in the universe, is for each soul to make this choice of service and thus progress.
As entities evolve, they progressively balance and unblock their “energy centers” which directly correspond to the chakras. The Law of One series includes an extensive discussion of these energy centers.
Each energy center is associated with a color and a corresponding Hindu chakra:
Muladhara is called red-ray. Svadhisthana is called orange-ray. Manipura is called yellow-ray. Anahata is called green-ray. Vishuddhi is called blue-ray. Ajna is called indigo-ray. Sahasrara is called violet-ray
Additionally to this, humanity and the Earth are undergoing a transition from third density to fourth density. This transition is linked to a process called harvest. This involves a “quantum leap” within our physical reality, said to occur approximately 30 years from the time of the 1981 Ra dialogues.[One of the dialogues mentions a general time frame of 100 to 700 years for “transition on Earth from third density to fourth density”.
Moral choices are discussed through the concept of polarity. Ra explains that there are two polarities: service to self, and service to others.[25] These two polarities approximately relate to the everyday concepts known as evil and good, or selfishness and altruism.
“Service to Others” is described in terms of an energy center configuration where the green-ray center radiates out toward other beings. This results in compassion, love feelings, and acts of service toward others.
“Service to Self” is described in terms of an energy center configuration where the green-ray center is pointed mainly inward. This energy center configuration causes the entity to feel love for itself, but not for others. These feelings lead to self-serving intentions and actions, or “service to self.”
Ra views the Earth as a living being that has a mind, free will, and grows over time both physically and spiritually. He explains that the Earth is currently in the process of changing from third density to a fourth density planet.
Tarot & Archetypal Mind A big part of the series covers the (intuitive) study of the local Logos’ archetypes, which are highly reminiscent of the work of Carl Jung. Ra states the Tarot system originates from Ra’s home planet, Venus, when Ra’s civilization was at 3rd density level, long ago, and that the Major Arcana of the Tarot was used as a general referent and means of studying one’s own progress. Originally, the Major Arcana was just a conglomerate of archetypal images that were supposed to be memorized. It is only later, when introduced to Sumerian and Egyptian civilizations, that the Tarot system came to get settled into the card format it is today.
The Archetypes are divided into 3 groups (Mind/Body/Spirit) of 7,[36] with the 22nd archetype being the same as the 0th, which Ra names “The Choice.”[37][unreliable source?]
Influence[edit] The book series centers around the “harvest”, which is described as a major spiritual and physical change that will occur on Earth around the year 2011. Consider year of channeling session where Harvest is mentioned whilst adding thirty years as mentioned in session #6.

Ra: I am Ra. This inconvenience, or disharmonious vibratory complex, has begun several of your years in the past. It shall continue unabated for a period of approximately three oh, thirty [30], of your years.

What is the Law of One?

Why do there seem to be many?
The Infinite Creator became aware of the possibility of finity. It determined to explore this possibility. (13.12)
Why?
It is interested in free will. What happens if portions of itself are free to do whatever they want?
Why does it care?
It wants to know Itself.
How does the Creator investigate the concept of free will?
Its infinite intelligence coalesces into foci of intelligent energy. These foci call light into being, thereby establishing a pattern of natural laws and creating what we call a galaxy. (13.13)
What do we call such a focus?

How does calling light into being establish natural laws?
Light is intelligent, full of energy, and the building block of what we call matter.
Is there more than one Logos?
Yes, each galaxy has its own Logos. Ra says that our people have often worshipped the Logos instead of the One Infinite Creator from which it comes. (27.12)
Is there a physical manifestation of the Logos?
I’m not sure. If there is, I guess it would be the central sun of our galaxy. But though Ra does refer to a central sun, it seems to be the central sun of the universe that all will return to. (27.6)
So does each galaxy have its own system of natural laws?
Yes. And also its own archetypical mind. Ra says that some of its members have wandered to other galaxies, and that “[t]he experience has been one which staggers the intellectual and intuitive capacities.” (90.17)
What is our sun?
A “sub-Logos.” It refines the natural laws and the archetypical mind set up by our Logos, informed by the experience of earlier solar systems in our galaxy, just as our Logos was informed by the experience of earlier Logoi with their galaxies. (29.1)
So how did people come about?
Our Logos, in its plan for how best to allow the Creator to know itself, chose to invest bipedal apes with self-consciousness.
Why?
Why would the Logos want us not to discover the powers of the mind?
It goes back to free will. We are each, in essence, the One Infinite Creator, exploring the illusion of finity. The Logos wanted to give each portion of the Creator the utmost free will in its exploration. It therefore carefully veiled the subconscious and deep minds from the conscious mind.
How does veiling the subconscious from the conscious mind give us free will?
The subconscious mind is aware of unity with all that is. If we were consciously aware of that unity, we would have no need for seeking or for choosing a path back to the Creator.
If we already are the Creator, why do we have to choose a path back?
It’s a matter of becoming more and more that which we already are. And as each of us makes choices on our journey back, we become like jewels in the crown of the Creator.
What choices do we have for paths?
Service to self or service to others. Or neither.
What happens if we choose neither?
We reincarnate until we do choose one of the two paths.
Why are there only two paths?
Ra doesn’t say, but I think that, just as a magnet has two poles, the positive and the negative, so does consciousness. Ra does point out that, just as it’s impossible to judge the polarity of a magnet, so is it impossible, and inappropriate, to judge the polarity of another being.
How do we choose one path or the other?
In order to choose the positive path, at least 51 percent of our thoughts and actions must be dedicated to the service of others. For the negative path, at least 95% must be self-serving. Between the two lies “the sinkhole of indifference.”
What happens if we do choose one of the paths successfully?
We graduate to a planet of service to others or a planet of service to self.
How long do we have in which to choose?
75,000 years.
What happens after 75,000 years?
After that, earth will be a service to others planet. Those who have chosen service to others will work together in the manner that seems best to them. Those who have chosen service to self will go to planets dedicated to their path. Those who have not yet chosen will go to other third-density planets.
What do you mean third density?
There are seven densities of experience. First density is the density of awareness, in which the planet moves out of the timeless state into physical manifestation. Its inhabitants are earth, wind, water, and fire. Second density is the density of growth, in which what we call biological life emerges and evolves into greater and greater complexity. Third density is the density of choice, in which certain of the biological entities are invested with spirits and choose which way they will further their evolution toward the Creator. Fourth density is the density of love. Those who have successfully chosen come together with others of like mind in order to pursue that choice, either towards loving self or loving others. Fifth density is the density of wisdom. Those who have studied the love of self or of others now learn to be wise in their service. Sixth density is the density of unity. In it love and wisdom are blended together. The two paths reunite as those on the service-to-self path, realizing that they cannot successfully master the lessons of unity without opening their hearts to others, switch their polarity to positive. Seventh density is the gateway density, the last step before we become again that which we have always been, the One Infinite Creator. Eighth density is also the beginning of the first density of the next Creation. Between seventh and eight densities, I believe, the creation re-merges in a period of timeless, formless unity with the Creator.
Why are there seven densities?
It is Ra’s understanding that “ways of the octave are without time; that is, there are seven densities in each creation infinitely.” They point out, though, that the limits of their knowledge are narrow.
